Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
Add cold water and mix until well combined.
Soak sausage casings in warm water for 10 minutes.
Using a sausage stuffer, fill the casings with the beef mixture and twist into individual sausages.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cooking to let flavors develop.
Cook sausages by grilling, pan-frying, or baking until fully cooked (internal temperature of 160°F or 71°C).
Notes
For extra juiciness, you can add a bit of beef fat or suet to the mixture.
