In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Coat chicken pieces in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Sauté breaded chicken pieces for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
Pour in marinara sauce and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
Cover and let cheese melt for about 5 minutes (or transfer to a baking dish and broil for 3-5 minutes until bubbly).
Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
